This has been a very busy Month for us! Praise The Lord, what a wonderful problem to have!
We have been to several different Churches to present our ministry.
On Sunday February 8th, we preached all day in Madison, Florida at Landmark Baptist Church, pastored by Brother Robert Ledford. Pastor Ledford had to make an emergency run to Montana for his family, and he had asked us to come and be with them on that Sunday. The sweet folks of Landmark in Madison made ouf family feel like "Royalty"! They were so gracious, kind and generous.
Wednesday the 11th, we attended services at Landmark Baptist Church, Haines City, Florida. We were able to tell folks about who we are and what God has called us to do.
Last Sunday, February 15th, we were able to attend Morning Services with the good folks of First Missionary Baptist Church of Eustis, Florida. Please pray for these folks, they are presently without a Pastor. Our family was blessed to be able to sing and we also were able to present the ministry to the Church.
Sunday evening (Feb 15) we attended services at St. Catherine Baptist Church. Pastor George Pirt asked me to sing and also to tell his people about the ministry that God has led us to go into. Bro. Pirt preached a fantastic message, one that encouraged all who listened to give more of ourselves to God and His blessed Service and also to Soul Winning.
Wednesday Evening, February 18th, we were down in Riverview, Florida at First Baptist Church of East Bay, ( http://www.firstbaptistchurchofeastbay.com/ ) attending the start of their Missions Conference. Pastor Tim Meyers asked our family to sing and to present this ministry to his people. Pastor Danny Young of Lighthouse Baptist Church located in Spring Hill, Florida ( http://www.lighthousefmbc.org/ ) came down to preach for the conference. That night God gave Brother Young a message for us that is often not received very well. God intervened and gave the increase.
Thursday the 19th I almost got to preach in the Sumter County Jail. There was a difficulty in the paperwork that we did finally get ironed out, but they could not allow me to go in that day.
Friday the 20th, we went back down to Riverview, First Baptist Church of East Bay for the continuation of their Missions Conference. Pastor Tim Meyers asked us to come back down and sing again. Much to our great surprise, The Mattingly Family (http://www.mattinglyfamily.org/ )
was there to sing as well! Oh how we love this dear family. We had just a great time of fellowship in conversation and in song too! We sang, They sang, We sang again and then they did!! then Brother Danny Young got up and preached... he "Shucked The Corn" and we ate at The Master's Table until we were full to the brim! After the service, we were able to again sit and fellowship with The Mattingly Family and Pastor and Mrs. Meyers.
Saturday the 21st, We went to Lighthouse Baptist Church of Spring Hill, Florida ( http://www.lighthousefmbc.org/ ) To help Pastor Young as their church start their Bus Ministry out. Praise The Lord, we made several new contacts and we are looking forward to seeing what God will do tomorrow. Please pray with us about tomorrow (Feb. 22nd) we will be doing part of the ministry that God has called us to do. We will be helping these folks run the route, teach Sunday School classes, helping with the music, preaching the Children's Church service. Sunday evening, our family will be singing again and I am going to be doing the preaching.
As I said... This has been a great month so far, and we still have other things coming up. Praise God for His provision... no matter how many there are of us, God has been right on time, every time!

Take a Look... Preaching Right Here, Right now!
Yep, that's correct... we now have the means to place preaching messages right here on the web site! No more having to "Multi-Click" in order to get there. Praise God!
I want to thank Pastor Ronnie Brown, who Pastor's the Gethsemane Baptist Church, located in Rossville, Georgia. Brother Ronnie called me this morning and told me that a new message that I had placed on the web was seriously in need of help! (*Not for content:) I had converted it to an mp3 format in a new program and when I finished it, I loaded it to the web and did not check it!
Well, Pastor Brown got up this morning and saw there was a new message posted, so he went to it and listened... He called me and said that all throughout the preaching every few minutes a female voice would come on and say, "AVS MEDIA DEMO"! Brother Brown said that she would say it right over my preaching, over and over again!
So needless to say I have spent the better part of today looking for a new program that would work for our needs here.
Thank God for His Mercy! We were able to locate just such a program and now we have not only fixed that "Little Glitch", but we have also found a way to make them available on the blog!
I hope you will come back here often and listen to one of the messages.

Something Simple That Makes The Difference!
I have been praying for a while now about the great need that the Youth of America, and the world for that matter, have in regards to "Needing" a closer relationship with Christ. Now don't get me wrong, I know that this is NOT just a need for the Youth of our world, it is something that ALL of us can use.
I guess the reason why it has been more focused on young people for me recently is that I have been spending a lot of time with the youth of our Church in Tallahassee, listening to them as they talk about the struggles they face in trying to "Stay Close" to God. I have been very surprised by the level of maturity in the actual thought they have all put in to trying to find a "Cure" for this thing that is keeping them "At A Distance" from the Lord.
I am not going to shock anyone when I tell you the "One Thing" that can "Truly" change your life. I know that this answer is something that has been mentioned many times on this blog as well as throughout the generations that have been alive since the time of Jesus Christ. This answer has ALWAYS been here but it has been continuously ignored and overlooked generation after generation! Centuries have passed and the answer has stayed the same, no tricks, no "Smoke and Mirrors", no "Snake Handling" required for this one... it is the ONLY thing in the world that will NOT harm you in any way, but it will CHANGE you COMPLETELY, no matter who you may be, where you may live... NO EXCEPTIONS!
The answer is simply this...
THE BIBLE
I know that may sound too simplistic and some people may even say that it is a "Stupid" answer, well you are entitled to your own opinion! I still stand by this answer, I know it works, I know it makes "THE" difference in my life each and every day and I know it WILL BE THE ANSWER FOR YOU!
I have seen it happen time and time again, Christians "Drift" away from the Lord and they keep making the mistake of thinking they can "Mysteriously" find their way back by themselves. This is a Big, Fat Lie of the Devil! You and I cannot do anything by our own power to "Keep Us" from getting farther and farther from the Lord.Only God Can Do This!
It is ONLY through His Word that you and I can grow. It is through Him, Through His power, Through His Blood, His Forgiveness, His Restoration, His Righteousness, His Death, Burial and His Glorious, Miraculous Resurrection that we have any hope at all! In the pages of The Bible, we can truly see Jesus reflected in every story, every Character in His word points to "Who" and "What" Jesus Christ actually is!
As an Evangelist, I constantly meet people who are discouraged and "Beaten Down" in their life. I listen to them as they cry and pour out their hearts telling me just how "Far" they feel they have gone from the "Strong Arms" of their "Loving Heavenly Father". They feel unprotected, unloved, unwanted, unneeded by anyone and everyone. This is sadly becoming more and more common in our Homes and in our Churches this whole world over.
If we have ever needed to "Return to The Bible"... THIS IS THAT TIME!
Think on this for a while. Let the Holy Spirit speak to YOU and follow His direction. He will NEVER lead you "AWAY FROM GOD"!

What a Wonderful Weekend!
We had a wonderful time on this past Saturday with Pastor Matt Spencer of Landmark Baptist Church of Moultrie, Georgia. We, my family and I, along with my Pastor, Bro. Derrick Burrus and his son Corey, joined Pastor Spencer for a time of passing out gospel tracts and wittnessing to folks at a Car Show that was held in Moultrie.
We had a fantastic time and in less than 2 hours, we were able to hand out 500 gospel tracts! The whole family got involved in this activity, I tell you, there is nothing more thrilling than watching your children, no matter what the age, do something for The Lord! I watched as my kids, who range in age from 5 to 16, as they walked around this old airfield, where the car show was being held, handing out tracts to total strangers.
We had one very interesting situation happen to my son Jonathan (9 yrs old). Jonathan walked up to one of the vendor tables that was displaying all types of "Car Parts" for old Ford Mustang cars. Jonathan walked right up to the table and politely asked the man behind the table: "Excuse me sir, may I give this to you?" the man looked at what was in Jonathan's hand and said sternly "NO!" then the man turned and walked off. Jonathan did not miss a beat, he just smiled his cute little 9 year old smile and said to the man, "Ok, Thank you sir, have a great day!" than Jonathan turned and walked back towards us where we were standing, looking at the Mustang stuff the man had on one of his tables. Now, all day long we had been handing tracts directly to individual people but we had also been placing tracts on tables, racks of free stuff that were positioned all over the field, in the "Port-a-Potties", snack stands... basically anywhere we could find to get the word out.
Jonathan had been helping us do this too, he helped me stand in line for the restrooms, placing tracts inside each one for people to pick up. When he walked down to where my wife and I were standing, he placed a tract down on the table. After we walked away, the man came out, saw the tract picked it up and started hollering and running at us... needless to say it scared ALL of us quite a bit! I turned around to face the guy, placing myself between him and my family, he ran up to me yelling at me saying, "Does your GOD tell you to put these things on the tables of people who don't want them??!!" I replied to him, "Yes sir, He sure does!" Then this fella took th tract in his hand, wadded it up and threw it to the groung at my feet. I just smiled at him and said, "Thank you sir, and Good Bless You!" I bent down picked up the tract, smoothed it back out, then found someone else who was grateful to get it!
We went and found a place to sit down after it happened, the whole family was shaken a bit, I looked at Jonathan and he was scared. I told him, "Jonathan, that man will one day stand before God and God will remind him how He (God) sent you to tell him about Jesus and Salvation. I know it's scarry but don't you let it bother you, and don't let it keep you from telling others about Jesus Christ."
Jonathan looked up at me and smiled and said, "Let's go tell some more Daddy!"
I was very proud of my son jonathan that day! I believe that God will reward him for being willing to go when even some adults decided to stay home because they did not want to get involved. Thank God for the Children that can take the message to a lost world!

Here's What's Next!!
Please pray for our family as we will be in Moultrie, GA. on Saturday, February 7, 2009, for a Soul Winning Effort With Pastor Matt Spencer of Landmark Baptist Church, also, Our Pastor, Bro. Derrick Burrus will be coming in to help us as we go out to tell others about Jesus. Sunday February 8, 2009 we will be preaching at Landmark Baptist Church in Madison, FL. for Pastor Robert Ledford. We will be there for both services morning and evening.
We are praying much about both of these events. Please pray with us as we go to do the work that God has given us to do.
